If you’re looking to foster better cooperation and communication among your group members, take one of the fresh air and fun team-building courses we offer at The Lodge at Geneva Ridge. Our team will coordinate their efforts to make the retreat meaningful, the Geneva Lake setting will make it memorable. Our range of team activities can be customized to fit your group situation.

A Hunting We Will Go
A scavenger hunt of a different nature. This adventure will have you doing everything from rummaging through your belongings for that 1978 penny and a family photo to decoding encrypted messages and learning about the history of the Resort and even quizzing you about your own company.

  • 2 hour activity
  • Minimum of 2 teams

The Regatta
Our version of the World Cup Regatta. Crews will call upon ingenuity and creative engineering skills to design and construct (what they hope will be) a seaworthy vessel. At least one member will be asked to captain their craft in the Regatta, which will determine the overall winner.

  • 2 hour activity
  • 6 people per team
  • Minimum of 2 teams

All-Star Olympics
An event that can be customized to suit your company’s needs, this event can be filled with athletic events (basketball, volleyball, badminton, whiffle ball) for a more competitive feel or non-athletic events (silly obstacle courses, target throws, soccer dribbles, or cooperative games) for all ages and abilities. We can design a fun program at any level.

  • 1-2 hour activity
  • 4-8 people per team
  • Minimum of 2 teams

Construction Zone
Both large and small scale projects available – this program is all about building things. Small scale projects can be done inside using materials like Lego’s, construction paper and popsicle sticks. Large scale projects using lumber, cardboard and tools are best outdoors. Teams can be assigned a specific object or structure to build and can be judged on size, strength, aesthetics and use of materials. The assignment can also be more abstract, like “building something that best represents your company.

  • 1-2 hour activity
  • 4-6 people per team
  • Minimum of 2 teams
  • Small scale project, 1 hour
  • Large scale project, 2 hours

Mission: Impossible
No ordinary scavenger hunt! Teams will be challenged to solve complex problems, overcome obstacles, utilize limited resources and rely on fellow teammates for support. Can be done in a race against other teams, or just a race against time…to save the world.

  • 2 hour activity
  • 4-8 people per team
  • Minimum of 2 teams

Photo Safari
You are on the hunt for local landmarks. Should your team try to “bag the big ones” worth more points or hunt down as many of the smaller ones as possible? That’s for your Safari Team to decide. Groups must supply own vehicles and drivers.

  • 2 hour activity
  • 6 people per team
  • Minimum of 2 teams

Velcro Olympics
This dynamic attraction provides a challenging and very entertaining event. Participants wear Velcro overalls that adhere them to certain sections of the course as they struggle through the obstacles. Participants can race against time or an opponent. This event’s versatility makes it suitable for everyone.

Sand Volleyball

  • Maximum 3 hour activity
  • Maximum 2 courts available
  • Minimum of 2 teams
